Blue Cyclone Rapids – Ober Gatlinburg

Last week Patty and I jumped in the Jeep and headed South and didn’t stop till we reached Gatlinburg, Tennessee. After we checked into our hotel, we headed to the top of the Smoky Mountains to Ober Gatlinburg, an amusement park with ski lifts, alpine slides, water slides, and other assorted novelty rides.
In the center of the park was the big Blue Cyclone Rapids. 108 steps later, we were at the top. I jumped into the tube and positioned my self ever keeping the camera steady. The attendant was saying something about taking care of the camera cause he had the slide going really wet.

Is this open all year round. Does it get cold there. How much is the parks fee. It looks really fun.
