Would You Believe
Light can play tricks on your eyes. Holding an object at a certain angle in just the right light can deceive the brain what information it sends to the eyes. Locate square “A” and square “B” in the illustration above. Due to the tall cylinder disecting the board, both squares are the exact same shade of gray. However, your brain see’s square A and B as two distinct colors.
Moral of the story. Don’t always believe what you see with your eyes.
