President Obama Reads The Grassy Knoll Institute

President Barack Obama unveiled his High Speed Railroad plan today promising to utilize billions of dollars from his stimulus package to fund a new generation passenger service for the 21st century and beyond. President Obama talks of this venture taking time, years to complete, but will strengthen the infrastructure and create thousands of jobs to right the economy.

Below is a quote from Obama taken today from the New York Times:
“What we need, then, is a smart transportation system equal to the needs of the 21st century,” he said, “a system that reduces travel times and increases mobility, a system that reduces congestion and boosts productivity, a system that reduces destructive emissions and creates jobs. There’s no reason why we can’t do this.”
