Signs Of Spring
Posted by LOTGK on April 21, 2008

Many countries and cities have iconic reminders that winter is fading and springtime is just around the corner.
The swallows returning to Capistrano is one of the most famous signs of Springtime returning.
Or the cherry blossoms in Washington, DC in full bloom is a favorite tourist attraction signaling warmer weather is arriving.
For our Canadian friends up North, having only a foot of snow on the ground at this time is a sure sign that Spring has arrived.
And for the residents of Youngstown, Ohio, being able to see the white chalk outline at a crime scene is a sure sign Spring has arrived.

We’ve had such a long freakin’ winter I’d rather see chalk outlines than snow at this point…hell, most of us are ready to climb the towers and create a few!
