Mister Softee Ice Cream
In my travels to New York City, I happened upon an ice crean vendor. I felt sorry for this employee.
And the company manager can’t figure out why no one is applying for the job openings.
It would be hard to say that you’re Mr. Softee.

Why did you feel sorry? What was going on that would make it appear as though the company would have problems hiring people? I’ve read a bunch of blog comments about the ubquitous Mister Softee and most of the annoyance seems to come from the jingle playing too much…

I can’t speak for ALL drivers/operators but, I play the bells very loud while driving, but turn it down a lot AND put a LONG delay between songs when I stop. I have witnessed other trucks that don’t do that I and agree, they are annoying fools! To be honest, I HATE listening to that song for 8 hours, but for 10 minutes, it wouldn’t be a big deal. But don’t feel sorry for the driver/operator, they make a good living.
