Lincoln / Kennedy Coincidences

Abraham Lincoln and John Kennedy have some very coincidental oddities about them. One would even say bizarre, or dare the Grassy Knoll Institute say Conspiracy? Pretty bizarre facts especially the last one.Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both Lincoln and Kennedy each contain seven letters.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost children while living in the White House.
Both were shot on a Friday.
Both were shot in the head.
Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy’s secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners.
Both successors were named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both were known by their three names.
Both names are comprised of 15 letters.
Booth ran from a theater and was caught in a warehouse.
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.
Both were shot to death before their trials.
AND…..
A week before Lincoln was shot he was in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot he was in Marilyn Monroe.

Ok, you say that a week before he was shot, Kennedy was with Marilyn Monroe. This is false, Monroe died over a year before Kennedy was shot. She was found dead August 4-5 1962. Please correct this false information before conspiracy theorist swear that it’s true.

Anthony, no, I said he was “In” Marilyn Monroe, not with her. It was a play on words.
And keep in mind that this is the home of the 99 cent conspiracy theory. It’s a humor based blog, not exact facts based blog.

You have a problem then. The Third line on this site says, and I quote: “Pretty bizarre facts especially the last one”.
It’s a Proven FACT that Marilyn Monroe was dead the previous year. So your play on words leaves you liable. I don’t care either way as to what all these Drab coincidence’s, that were mostly made up, state. Not one of them can proven.
Let’s start with the one that says “Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy”. Again, mis-information, Lincoln’s White House secretaries were John Hay and John Nicolay. You can search all you want, but you will never find any secretary for Lincoln by the name of Kennedy.
I can go on and give you more, but I wouldn’t be believed anyway. You’ve posted to Anthony King that this was a Humor based blog, but as I pointed out, your third line states FACTs, which changes this from humor to a fact based blog. You’ve gotta watch how you post sentences, as ANYTHING and EVERYTHING can be taken out of context. All in all, I did like the posting though. Did make me grin a little…

Tony, this blog is the home of the 99 cent conspiracy theory.
It IS a humorous site. Just because one types in the word “Fact” does not make the blog fact based. And that’s a fact.

this is my first time reading this on this website and already i can tell you that some of your information is wrong.
Booth was not caught in a warehouse..he was caught and apprehended on someone else’s property.
Also…neither one of the assassins was shot to death before their trials. I don’t want to stir up any trouble…i just wanted to let you know that some of your facts are off. Thanks for letting me submit my comment.

But you are right, I think Kennedy was in Monroe more than once.
