Well I don’t know why I came here tonight,
I got the feeling that something ain’t right,
I’m so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I’m wondering how I’ll get down the stairs,
Clowns to the left of me,
Jokers to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the middle with you.
Do You Remember Charlie?
Tonight’s episode reunites Danielle, the French woman with Sayid. Danielle leads him into the jungle to a man strung up in a trap. Sayid cuts him down, Danielle shoots him with a bow and arrow as he tries to flee, and he is taken back to the bunker.
Plenty of drama as Sayid tortures the captured man, as he truly believes the man is lying and is one of the others. Locke is in cahoots with Sayid as he changes the combination to the storage room.
Jack holds Locke back from pushing the button on the computer to reset the countdown until Locke opens the storage room.
Did anyone notice that Locke didn’t make it in time? Some strange pictures graphs rolled up instead of a reset of 108 minutes?
Sawyer searches out a noisy tree frog that is annoying him with the help of Hurley. When he finds it, he crushes it in his hands.
Sayid asks Charlie if he remembers that he was left for dead hung from a tree, and that the others are murderers.
OK, lets get to my ongoing theory on Lost. Although it appears the survivors of Oceanic flight 815 are on a tropical island, they are being deceived. There is no island. The survivors are in a virtual reality laboratory. All the castaways are interconnected to one another sharing each others thoughts, memories, and feelings. While in this virtual reality laboratory, a battery of physical and mental experiments are performed on them. And who is behind all this other than the mysterious government men? Aliens of course.
The past several weeks a wedge was being driven between Jack, Sawyer, Locke, and Sayid. Each now seems to be forming separate little alliances. Could this be what happened to the French woman’s crew 17 year earlier? Groups split apart and finally turned to violence and murdered each other. Perhaps the French crew was the control set group and the new sets of survivors are being subjected to the same tests. Will the results be the same?
Noticed: That yet another week of non-supernatural happenings.
Locke seems more and more distant. Almost trance like.
Charlie has turned to the dark side.
Ana Lucia is a wild card. Same for Libby, she is a key player.
What the hell were those symbols on the clock counter? One was a bird, a squiggly line, and some dark looking figures…
The last 4-5 episodes are moving away from supernatural and trying to force another scenario for the castaways. I believe it is merely a plot twist, a lull before the storm, and a prelude to several survivors leaving the island.
